Judi Letheby & Carlye Long started "Your Precious Pets" Dog Grooming Salon and Spa in September of 2008, with a small staff of themselves and one groomer.  They currently employ five groomers.


Grooming Staff
The most important element in determining the quality of pet grooming is the experience and artistry of the groomer. Your Precious Pets employs five of the most experienced and talented groomers in Lincoln. Each of our groomers has ample experience in professional grooming. While each person tends to specialize in a breed or size, they each groom all breeds of dogs with superior ability.

Erin- Dog Stylist
Evident by the terrific following she has built, Erin will cheerfully and patiently groom any dog, providing a keen eye towards creativity and precision. Erin loves small dogs, long hair or short, Erin's expertise is skillfully demonstrated across a wide range of dogs, from Purebreds to designer breeds and small mixed breeds. Erin's proficiency at scissoring and shaping makes her perfect for breeds where extra care is appreciated. Erin has been grooming professionally for 10 years and does particularily well with the smaller dogs. She can find the cutest face on any dog. 

Amy - Dog Stylist
Amy has been a professional groomer for 8 years. She has a sincere and earnest affection for animals, which is communicated in all actions. Her warmth is felt by the animal almost instantly and allows Amy to bring out the very best features of a pet's personality and breed. She enjoys a wide and enthusiastic clientele as well as grooming any and all breeds.

Krista- Dog Stylist
Krista is establishing and maintaining a good clientelle. Krista has been grooming for 4 years and is highly gentle and affectionate with the dogs. She enjoys bonding with the larger breeds and loves giving the specialty hair cuts.

Wade - Dog Stylist
Wade has had years of experience with dogs and turned to grooming 6 years ago. Wade's dog energy is so calm, he can take stimulated, shy, and/or fearful dogs to a state of relaxation in minutes. His grooming is precise and Wade is very particular with making the dogs comfortable and look their best. Wade also does well with geriatric and special needs dogs.

Judi -  Dog Specialist
Judi also attended grooming school in Loveland Colorado in 2006. She has 10 years of experience working with dogs as she worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 7 years, managing it for the last 5 years before attending grooming school. Judi enjoys all breeds and in addition to grooming, she is part owner of the Salon. 


Grooming at Your Precious Pets is generally by appointment. We estimate your pick-up time when you drop off and almost always accommodate your schedule. You may pick up as late as 6 pm.

We never put your pet in a cage unless you request it or it is necessary due to behavior issues. All pets get to play before the grooming session. At Your Precious Pets, we let the pets play in our custom-designed play areas while waiting for their appointment;  In fact, many people drop their pets off early to play first for a few hours; this is always fine with us, and we never charge extra.

Note: Pets who prefer not to play are placed in a separpate area. All pets are allowed to play in the play areas before getting groomed.
